The couple in the middle are Gordon and Dorothy Sutcliffe had just got married. They were about to set off on their honeymoon to Blackpool for 3 days. Dorothy was wearing a cherry red coat and grey hat, bag and shoes. The couple to the left are Harold Joseph William Mills, Dorothy's brother, and his wife Joyce. The couple to the right are Albert and Irene Moss. Dorothy had lodged with them before the wedding. Irene was one of Dorothy's bridesmaids. The others were Gordon's sister Jessie and Dorothy's sister Pam. They are standing in front of a partially obscured wall advert for brylcreem.
